It comes after more people looking for work sent the country’s unemployment rate in March to its highest level in nearly two years.

The economy also lost about 22-hundred jobs.
Nova Scotia’s N-D-P leader has announced a program aimed at easing the cost of housing.
Claudia Chender made the announcement during a campaign-style speech before the party’s annual convention in Halifax Saturday.
Chender says her party’s proposal can be considered a major plank in its platform ahead of a provincial election, which can be held no later than July 15th of next year.
The policy proposal would prioritize the use of prefabricated housing to expand public housing stock, increase home downpayment help under an existing provincial program and establish rent control, while also providing a tax credit for renters from low and middle-income households.
