Pictou County Volunteer Ground Search and Rescue has been showing up for Pictou County for over 30 years
with over 60 trained volunteers ready to respond day or night, no matter the conditions.
Whether they’re searching for a missing loved one or checking in on residents during storms, they’re always ready.
They’re also helping prevent emergencies through their Hug A Tree program
teaching kids how to stay safe outdoors with simple things like staying put, staying calm, and being easier to find.
