Here's an update on local Remembrance Day Services:

Due to Covid restrictions and Legion guidelines, attendance at all Legion Remembrance Day Services will be limited to Legion Memorial Service Committee Members only. For further information please contact your local Branch. 

There will be a brief Remembrance Day Service at 10:45am Nov 11th at the cenotaph, First Church in Hopewell. COVID rules will apply with masks and social distancing. 

There will be a vigil at 10:45AM at the cenotaph in Pictou, there will be no Parade, you may attend if you wish, but Masks are mandatory and social distancing will be required. Wreathes may be placed at your own leisure on the 10th of November or after the vigil on Remembrance Day .

Remembrance Day Service in Thorburn is cancelled this year due to Covid 19. Wreaths may be laid by individuals at any time during the day.

The Town of New Glasgow will not host a Remembrance Day Ceremony this year.  The Royal Canadian Legion - National Headquarters will Livestream this year's Remembrance Day ceremony on Nov 11 at 11:45 a.m. AST which will be shared on the Town of New Glasgow's Facebook page.
