U-S President Donald Trump says across-the-board tariffs on Canadian goods are coming this week and Canadians are now waiting to see if he follows through with the threat.
Trump paused the 25 per cent tariffs and 10 per cent levy on Canadian energy for a month in February.
As a result, Ottawa has beefed up border security and Canadian leaders have tried to make a diplomatic push in Washington to try and stop any possible tariffs.
Political experts say Trump might not even know what he wants to see from Canada.

Nova Scotia’s Progressive Conservative government has taken down an online dashboard that provides information about the number of people waiting for a family doctor. Health Minister Michelle Thompson says that instead of the online dashboard there would solely be monthly updates in news releases from Nova Scotia Health. The N-D-P says that the result will be less information, as the old system included regional breakdowns and reasons people were coming on and off the waiting list. In the last update, Nova Scotia Health indicated there were more than 104,000 people on the list.
